Jarvad Group Celebrates 1^st Year Anniversary and Launches Lagos-Ogun Mega Farm Revolution Conference 2024

Jarvad Group celebrated its 1^st Year Anniversary with a grand dinner and the inaugural edition of the Lagos-Ogun Mega Farm Revolution Conference 2024, themed “Creating Transgenerational Wealth Through Agriculture.” The event, held at the Ilupeju Recreational Centre, was marked by the investiture of Arc. Olubukunola Atinuke Ejiwunmi (FNIA, PPNIA), Nigeria’s first female president of the Nigerian Institute of Architects, as Board Chairman of Jarvad Group, as well as the launch of the groundbreaking Jardx App and a prestigious awards ceremony.

During his opening remarks, Founder and President of Jarvad Group, Mr. Adekunle Adetunji Adebiyi, reiterated the core mission of the Group: “Our goal at Jarvad Group is to create opportunities for stakeholders to secure and build their future through strategic collaboration, partnerships, and purposeful investments.”

Mr. Adebiyi also emphasized the significance of the Lagos-Ogun Mega Farm Revolution Conference, positioning it as a solution-driven platform to tackle food insecurity in Nigeria through agripreneurship. “In the history of great nations, the greatest economic breakthroughs are born out of adversity. This conference is a springboard for economic empowerment through agribusiness,” he noted.

Participants at the conference benefitted from expert-led training sessions on various agricultural ventures, including catfish farming, food crop production, and livestock farming (poultry, cows, goats, and rams). Attendees were offered one year of free mentoring, consultation, and a 50% discount on land purchases at Jarvad Group’s flagship Goodnews Farm Estate, developed by Jarvad Farms Limited.

In her keynote address, the Honourable Commissioner represented by Deputy Director, Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Oreagba Akeem, reaffirmed Lagos State’s commitment to excellence in agriculture and food security. She commended Jarvad Group for aligning with the state’s agricultural vision and highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to support agripreneurs through training and processing hubs.

Conference Lead Trainer and Deputy Director of Fisheries, Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems, Mr. Olorunfemi Oniyide, lauded Jarvad Group’s private-public partnership agribusiness model, which opens up economic opportunities for everyday Nigerians. He also highlighted the state’s SMART agricultural initiatives that promote sustainability and inclusivity.

A major milestone of the evening was the unveiling of the Jardx App. Described by Mr. Adebiyi as a “digital wealth creation platform,” the app offers various investment products, including GenVest for transgenerational real estate investments, AgroVest for public-private partnership farming, and JardHoux and JardBux for real estate and housing schemes.

The awards ceremony recognized exceptional individuals who have contributed to the success of Jarvad Group. The Honourable Commissioner was presented with the Jarvad Excellence in Agricultural Transformation Award for her outstanding contributions to agribusiness. Additional awards were presented to Chief Mrs. Margaret Modupe Owosina for her unwavering support to the group and Ven. Peter A.O Ajayi for excellence in sales.

In just one year of operation, Jarvad Group has made remarkable strides, including the successful development of five estate locations in Lagos and Ogun states, with Goodnews Farm Estate leading the charge.
